A Carson City tradition: Carson High’s annual Holiday Craft Fair happening Friday and Saturday | Carson City Nevada News
The tradition continues this Friday and Saturday Nov. 18-19 with the 27th annual Carson High Holiday Craft Fair held at Carson High School, 1111 North Saliman Road, Carson City.
Friday’s hours are from 5pm to 8:30pm. and Saturday 9am to 4pm. With 150 crafters, 165 booths, tantalizing food, pictures with Santa, raffle prizes all in support of Carson High School student programs.
Those who make it an annual shopping event say they find gifts for everyone on their list.
For adults admission Friday night is $3 Friday (with admission on Saturday free); Saturday $2 or $1 with canned food donation (Saturday only). Children and students K- 12 are free. Don’t forget to have your picture taken with Santa.
Adult volunteers are needed for the Craft Fair, shifts are two hours each and your assistance could help your son or daughter qualify for a senior scholarship as well as support their favorite club or sport.

High school students are encouraged to volunteer for scholarship opportunities Friday after school from 2 to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. They will be helping the vendors unload and load up at the end of the event. Please note these are the only times students may volunteer for scholarship opportunities.
Santa will be there of course along with great food from CHS Culinary Arts, gift wrapping from Band Boosters, WebDesign graphic gifts, AAUW pecans, and Safe Grad sticker, cups sales and 5k registrations. Several clubs have reserved booth spaces in the past to sell items.
The annual craft fair will have food truck vendors Friday and Saturday in Senator Square. The high school will be very busy Saturday day and extra parking has been made at Mills Park with a shuttle to go back and forth.
