About the role: This role is pivotal to great design across a project scale—from massing to detailing. Enthusiasm for well-designed housing in San Diego’s climatic wonderland is a must. This requires a curious mind searching for clear design resolutions in a collaborative setting. This role is pivotal in developing processes and teams within an expanding portfolio of multi-family residential projects. It requires an incisive mind adept at leadership, design thinking and decision making.
Qualifications/Candidate Requirements: We are looking for someone who can prioritize research, design and schedule and who brings inspiration through all project phases.
8+ years of experience, California license preferred
Expert knowledge of design and construction processes in multi-family residential
Diverse knowledge of architecture principles, practices and management methods
Accuracy working with speed
Leadership acumen with experience leading teams of 5 to 10 architects/designers across a portfolio of residential projects
Advanced skills in Revit
Receive director training to quickly grow into your next role
Gain skills and experience outside of architecture in landscape architecture and real estate development
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience and exceeds AIA compensation survey.
